Description:
This enzyme is a dimer made of subunits each with themolecular weight
of 50,000. Its active form is as a metalloenzyme of glycoprotein containing
Zn2+. It degrades almost all phosphate monoesters in the same
way as the enzyme from E. coli , but it does not degrade diphosphate or
triphosphate linkages.
