Physicochemical properties: blue purple or blue powder. It is easily soluble in ethanol, ethylene glycol ether and ethylene glycol, and the alcohol solution is green blue. It is soluble in hot water as a blue solution, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, benzyl alcohol, glycerol and ethyl benzoate, slightly soluble in chloroform, pyridine and dioxane, and insoluble in olive oil and cold water. Add hydrochloric acid to precipitate blue precipitate in the aqueous solution. It is a reddish brown solution in the presence of sodium hydroxide and a reddish brown solution in the presence of sulfuric acid, and blue precipitates are precipitated when diluted.
