The administration of this drug to rabbits in early pregnancy can cause teratogenesis, mainly affecting the limb development. It can have immunosuppressive effect by interfering with RNA metabolism. If a small dose exists in the medium for a long time, it can inhibit the killing effect of sensitized lymphocytes in vitro.
